Crownview Psychiatric Institute provides personalized residential mental health treatment for adults with mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders, personality disorders including borderline personality disorder, and diagnoses such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and complex trauma.

We also offer individualized support for neurodivergence in adulthood, clients on the autism spectrum, and clients with co-occurring substance use disorders.

Crownview has a reputation for providing effective, results-based treatment that improves quality of life, promotes functional improvement, and increases overall wellness for adults with severe mental health issues and a history of relapse after multiple treatment episodes or repeated psychiatric hospitalizations.

Our in-patient treatment center near San Diego, California, is a safe and highly structured environment where every client receives superior clinical care and compassionate support from a team of dedicated professionals.

Our residential programs are focused on only six clients at a time, ensuring individual care and treatment. We have three beautiful, well appointed, private residences. 14 out of our 18 bedrooms are single occupancy. We also believe treatment should be integrated with daily life, which includes use of cell phones and computers, as appropriate, and as long as those devices do not distract from treatment.
